Organizational governance and digital administration — designed for chapters worldwide.
The Agarwal Community Network is being designed for global outreach. As the network grows, it should not depend on one person or one local chapter. It needs a clear structure for leadership, administration, privacy review, technology, finance, chapter coordination, and community service.
For this reason, the network separates two responsibilities: organizational governance and digital administration.
Organizational governance provides vision, strategy, trust, finance, legal structure, and long-term accountability.
Digital administration manages pages, data, chapter updates, privacy review, publishing, and local content coordination.
This structure is included from the beginning as a roadmap. Not every role needs to be active immediately. Local chapters may begin simply, then grow into a more formal structure as participation increases. No login, permissions, or live admin workflows exist yet.
Founder / Initiator — defined the vision and foundation. See the Founder’s Note (Sudhir K. Agarwal).
Governance roles — board, executive leadership, advisors, and program leads for long-term organization. These are placeholders until formally adopted.
Admin roles — operational roles that manage content, data, review, and publishing. Admin is a role, not a person. The same person may hold multiple roles over time; the system should not depend permanently on the founder for routine updates.
Controls content, pages, data, review, approvals, privacy, and publishing.
Active now: Admin processes are documented on the Workbench. Formal role assignments and permission enforcement are future work.
Controls leadership, strategy, finance, technology, outreach, legal structure, and long-term growth. All roles below are future-ready placeholders unless the organization formally adopts them.
Chapters may exist at city, state, country, and global levels. A local chapter may start with one City Chapter Admin and a few volunteers. As participation grows, section admins, reviewers, and chapter governance roles can be added through data files — without rewriting page code.
Data files: web/data/communities/{slug}/admin_roles.json and governance_roles.json (see AAASD placeholders).
Sensitive information — matrimonials, health, legal, wealth, estate, family matters, membership details, photos, and contact information — requires admin review before public display.
Admins and reviewers must follow data/knowledge/communities/agarwal/privacy_and_publishing_rules.md. Community guidance is not professional advice; disclaimers apply to high-stakes topics.
Any person may request correction or removal of personal information.
Role definitions live in structured JSON — templates under web/data/communities/templates/ and network data under web/data/communities/agarwal/.
